In addition to Dr. Karl Rabes' Speakers' Corner, which focused on "Agile team development and innovation processes," and Dr. Christoph Geier's session on the importance of narratives in digital transformation, the following panels were exceptionally well attended:
In the Speakers' Corner by Prof. Dr. Helmut Krcmar, Managing Director of TUM Campus Heilbronn gGmbH and Representative of the President for the Overall Strategic Development of the TUM Campus Heilbronn, everything revolved around a topic that is currently preoccupying many companies: "Skilled workers of the future - (no) panacea." Helmut Krcmar sees opportunities to counteract this in the labor market: "We can increase the pool or organize it differently." The panel is well attended. The panel's ideas revolve around inclusion, the use of artificial intelligence for routine work, and a new recruitment strategy based less on prefabricated profiles and more on applicants' skills.
Luise Pufahl, Professor of Information Engineering at TUM Campus Heilbronn, raises the following questions in her field: "Process mining - do I have that? Do I need that? Is it contagious?" Process mining is a technology used to discover, monitor, and improve actual processes - a previously unknown world for many participants. The professor explains how vital data is and what added value it can have for companies. This is precisely where the added value of the event becomes apparent: the participants can use this format to approach unfamiliar topics, break down inhibitions, and benefit from inspiration for their own company.
