Summer School TUM - HEC

Digital innovation has become a centerpiece of our economy: To succeed today and tomorrow, there is no other option for businesses than to try and incorporate innovation and digitalization into their DNA. If you want to find out for yourself how to truly align entrepreneurship and digital innovation in an effective and sustainable way - and why it's so important - you should look into our Summer School „Entrepreneurship and Digital Innovation“, a joint program by HEC Paris and TUM Campus Heilbronn.

Focus Your Knowledge

With this two-week course, we strive to provide the perfect opportunity to explore the ways and means of digital innovation in various industries and from multiple perspectives.

The joint Summer School program brings together internationally acclaimed experts from two of Europe’s leading business schools - HEC Paris and TUM Campus Heilbronn - who will provide you with the latest industry insights, many case studies, and the right tools to design and test innovative products.

You will be taught by lecturers from HEC Paris and TUM Campus Heilbronn and get the chance to apply your newly acquired knowledge in exercises and group discussions.

Our Summer School „Entrepreneurship and Digital Innovation“ is for anyone who wishes to learn more about future business models and the value proposition of digital innovation.

We accept applicants currently enrolled in a B.A., M.A., or PhD program, as well as recent graduates and industry practitioners.

Week 1 is taught by HEC Paris and introduces you to the fundamentals of digital entrepreneurship – skills, methods, and tools.

In Week 2, TUM Campus Heilbronn takes over to look at specific business cases from various industries, such as healthcare and retail: What makes – or breaks – digital innovation?

  • "I returned home from this program with new ideas, valuable knowledge, and meaningful connections from across the world."

"What sparked my interest is the dual approach of this program, blending business and technical perspectives on innovation and entrepreneurship. As a technical student, I rarely get to explore the business perspective, so the opportunity to acquire knowledge in both domains was particularly valuable and captivating."

"A highlight of this program was its interactive nature, which involved discussions, case studies and assignments. We had the opportunity to participate in various workshops, where we discussed start-up ideas, analyzed innovation strategies, and experimented with A/B Testing Simulations."
