In our Summer School, you will learn the most important methods, tools, and strategies—from design thinking and lean startup to business model validation and apply them directly in practical projects. This will ensure you are well prepared for the world of digital innovation.
Our Summer School Entrepreneurship and Digital Innovation welcomes students, graduates, and professionals eager to explore future business models.
In the first week, lecturers from TUM provide practical insights into digital transformation. Using real-life examples from industries such as healthcare and retail, participants work in groups to develop solutions to challenges presented by company representatives.
The second week is organized by HEC Paris and focuses on the fundamentals of digital entrepreneurship. Participants learn key skills, methods, and tools for developing a compelling start-up concept from an idea—supported by inspiring input and practical workshops.
Summer School Pre-registration
At the state-of-the-art campus of the Technical University of Munich (TUM) located at the Dieter Schwarz Foundation’s Education Campus in Heilbronn, cutting-edge research and excellent teaching are combined with a clear focus on the interdisciplinary intersection of Management as well as Computation, Information and Technology. The goal is to responsibly shape the opportunities and challenges of the digital age.

Course-Summary
Dates: June 29 – July 10, 2026
Location: TUM Campus Heilbronn, Germany
Application deadline: June 8, 2026 – 09:00 am (German time)
Language: the program is fully conducted in English (CEFR level C1 is required)
Certificate: All participants will receive an issued Certificate by both TUM and HEC Paris upon successful completion. For students, completion leads to the award of 5 ECTS credits. Students are encouraged to consult their home institution to validate credit transfer.
Program fee: € 3,500 (for full-time students) / € 4,100 (for young professionals). TUM students benefit from a 10 % tuition discount. Program fees do not include a non-refundable €50 application fee (expect for TUM/HEC students), personal insurance (required), meals, housing, travel to and from the TUM Campus Heilbronn.
