This is a special event for Luise Pufahl, Professor of Information Engineering at TUM Campus Heilbronn: “I am delighted and proud that we are able to host one of the first workshops of the German Informatics Society at the TUM Heilbronn Campus.”
Luise Pufahl is organizing the event together with her team and her colleague Professor Jana-Rebecca Rehse from the University of Mannheim: “With our program, we are providing new impetus for research ideas, but also benefiting from high-caliber keynotes from industry and research, as well as short presentations that have already been published in renowned journals or discussed at international conferences.”
A Workshop with Variety
While the first day was devoted entirely to networking, today and Friday will feature keynotes and sessions designed to inspire mutual inspiration: “We are delighted that the other research groups on campus, Data and Software Engineering, are also contributing to the workshop,” says Pufahl. The agenda includes among other things process mining, the use of knowledge graphs for error analysis and the sustainability of processes.
Many participants are coming from the surrounding area, but some have also made their way to Heilbronn from Berlin and Vienna. “With SAP, we have a strong partner on board who is heavily involved in research and has developed a comprehensive software suite for process modelling and process intelligence with Signavio.”
In addition, after work, there is plenty of time to relax: “Our guests will get to know both the modern campus and the city, including a regional wine tavern,” says Luise Pufahl.
