The Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg has awarded Prof. Dr. Gudrun P. Kiesmüller, Professor of Operations Management at the TUM Campus Heilbronn, an honorary doctorate for her outstanding scientific achievements, especially in connection with the optimal planning and design of supply chains, manufacturing systems, and maintenance processes.

The Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg has awarded Prof. Dr. Gudrun P. Kiesmüller, Professor of Operations Management at the TUM Campus Heilbronn, an honorary doctorate for her outstanding scientific achievements, especially in connection with the optimal planning and design of supply chains, manufacturing systems, and maintenance processes.

Prior to her work at TUM Campus Heilbronn, she was significantly involved in the foundation of the research cluster "Center of Operations Research and Business Analytics" (CORBA) at the University of Magdeburg and also developed the master program "Operations Research and Business Analytics".

Prof. Dr. Kiesmüller was awarded the honorary doctorate by the Dean of the Faculty of Economics Prof. Dr. Abdolkarim Sadrieh (left) and the Rector of the University Prof. Dr. Jens Strackeljan (right).
