A Professor Out of Passion

  • Awards

"When everybody is asleep and someone is talking, it's called teaching" is an old saying among students. Not so with Professor Carsten Trinitis from the TUM Campus Heilbronn.

The TUM Math, Physics, Informatics, and Chemistry Student Council (MPIC) has honored the dedicated professor from the TUM School of Computation, Information and Technology (CIT) with the TechInf Teaching Award for the best lecture. The student council represents over 17,500 students, making it the largest at TUM.

A special honor, as the prize is awarded by the students themselves. In the summer semester of 2023, the professor was able to inspire the next generation with his lecture "Fundamentals: Operating Systems and System Software."

We are delighted with Carsten about the award and are sure that he will continue to motivate his students with his specialist knowledge and innovative teaching methods.
