1. Organiser
The organiser of the competition is TUM Campus Heilbronn gGmbH, Bildungscam-pus 2, 74076 Heilbronn (hereinafter referred to as the "Organiser") with the Instagram account www.instagram.com/tum.campus.hn/ and the Facebook account www.facebook.com/TUM.Campus.Heilbronn/ (hereinafter collectively referred to as the "Organiser's social media channels".
2. Participation
Participation in the competition is free of charge, with the exception of the transmission costs incurred according to the tariff chosen by the participant from the respective mobile phone or Internet provider and is governed exclusively by these terms and conditions. By participating, the terms of participation are accepted, and the privacy policy is acknowledged.
A person will participate in this competition by
- entering their details in the entry form on the Organiser's website at https://chn.tum.de/campus/haigern-live-competition, and
- following at least one of the Organiser's social media channels at the time of the closing date.
The following data is requested from the participant in the entry form:
First name and surname
Date of birth
Email address for prize notification (only @tum.de and @mytum.de email addresses are valid)
Instagram username
Student confirmation
The competition begins on July 16, 2025 at 0:00 and ends with the closing date on July 23, 2025 at 23:59:59 German time. Participants can only take part in the competition within this period.
3. Eligibility to participate
Eligible to participate are natural persons who have reached the age of 18 and who are enrolled as a student in a course of studies with the Organiser during the duration of the competition (in the summer semester 2025). Participation is not dependent on the purchase of goods or services. If a participating person has limited legal capacity, the consent of his/her legal representative is required. All employees of the Organiser and persons involved in the conception and implementation of the competition and students of other educational institutions are not eligible to participate in the competition.
4. Prize and processing of the competition
3 x 2 tickets for the Haigern Live! Festival will be drawn among all participants. The individual participant's chance of winning depends on how many participants take part in the competition. The Organiser will inform the winners of their prize by email. All participants are requested to check their mailboxes and other spam boxes for a message from the Organiser after the competition has ended. In the course of processing the prize, the Organiser will request further data from the winners:
EMail address to which the prize should be delivered
A confirmation of completion of the age of 18
The selected winners have two days to provide the required data. If the selected winners do not respond by then, the prize cannot be transferred and will be forfeited.
The respective prize will be sent by the Organiser by email. A payout in cash and transfer of the prizes are excluded.
5. Other provisions
Legal recourse is excluded.
The Organiser reserves the right to modify, interrupt or terminate the competition in whole or in part at any time and without prior notice at its own discretion. In addition, the Organiser reserves the right to exclude persons from participation at its own discretion if there are justified reasons. The reservation of rights applies in particular if the competition has been manipulated or attempted to be manipulated by unauthorised means or if entries infringe the rights of third parties or contain criminal or otherwise unlawful, defamatory, xenophobic, discriminatory, racist, violence-glorifying or youth-endangering statements.
These terms of participation may be amended by the Organiser at any time without separate notification. Should individual conditions of participation be or become invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining conditions of participation.
6. Instagram / Facebook (Meta) Disclaimer
This competition is in no way connected to Instagram and/or Facebook and is in no way sponsored, supported or organised by Instagram and/or Facebook. Each participant fully indemnifies Meta against any claims arising from participation in the competition.
7. TikTok Disclaimer
This competition is in no way connected to TikTok and is in no way sponsored, supported or organised by TikTok. Each participant fully indemnifies TikTok against any claims arising from participation in the competition.
8.Privacy notice
a) Responsibility for data collection and processing
The Organiser collects and processes your data as the controller within the meaning of the GDPR.
b) Processed data and purpose of processing
The Organiser collects and processes your data exclusively for the purpose of the proper handling and execution of the competition, including the delivery of the prizes.
We process the following personal data to fulfil this purpose:
first name and surname,
of legal age yes/no,
contact details (user name, e-mail address, postal address)
matriculation number.
The processing of this data for the above-mentioned purpose is necessary for the fulfilment of a contract with you and is carried out on the legal basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR. Without this data, we cannot organise the competition or deliver the prizes. The Organiser points out that all personal data of the participants will not be passed on to third parties or made available to them for use without consent.
In the event of a win, the winner agrees to the publication of his/her name and place of residence in the advertising media used by the Organiser, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. This includes the announcement of the winners on the Organiser's website and the Organiser's social media channels.
c) Data transfer
Except for the fulfilment of the aforementioned purposes, no data is passed on to third parties.
d) Duration of data storage
The Organiser will only store the data collected in the context of the competition for as long as it is required to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected. After the competition has ended and the prizes have been sent, the Organiser will generally delete the data after 14 days, unless it is required for further notification of the prize or the Organiser is obliged to store the data for longer due to legal provisions and/or administrative or court orders.
e) Rights of data subjects
Data subjects can request information about what data is stored about them (Art. 15 GDPR). They can request rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR) and restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR) of their personal data as long as this is legally permissible and possible within the framework of an existing contractual relationship.
The data subjects also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
You have the right to the portability of the data that you have provided to the Organiser based on consent or a contract (data portability, Art. 20 GDPR).
If you have given the Organiser your consent to data processing, you can revoke this at any time in the same way in which you gave it. The withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal (Art. 7 (3) GDPR).
You may object to data processing on grounds relating to your particular situation if the data processing is based on our legitimate interests or is necessary for the performance of a task carried out for reasons of public interest (Art. 21 GDPR).
