The Technical University of Munich (TUM) confirms its outstanding position in the international research landscape and thus also the TUM School of Management in Heilbronn: In the renowned “Shanghai Ranking,” TUM ranks 48th worldwide in management – and thus first in Germany.
The “Global Ranking of Academic Subjects,” compiled by Shanghai Jiao Tong University, evaluates the research performance of universities based on the number and citation rates of scientific publications, international collaboration, and, in some subjects, the number of significant awards.
Other Subjects at the Top of Other Rankings
In other internationally renowned subject rankings, TUM is among the best universities in other subjects. In the QS World University Rankings by Subject, for example, it ranks 20th in data science/artificial intelligence.
In the THE World University Rankings by Subject, which evaluates broader subject groups, TUM ranks 14th in computer science.
