Strengthening international collaboration, attracting AI talent, advancing cutting-edge research: TUM Campus Heilbronn and the German Academic Exchange Service have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strategically expand their cooperation.

The focus is on attracting international AI talent, supporting early-career researchers, and creating new opportunities for outstanding postdocs and young academics in Heilbronn.

The call for applications for the program “Attracting International AI Talent for Heilbronn” opened on May 1. Funded by the Dieter Schwarz Stiftung, the pilot project will initially run for three years and aims to support up to 70 international talents per year through various funding formats. It is specifically tailored to Heilbronn’s innovation and research ecosystem and is designed to foster cooperation with local institutions.

With the strong innovation ecosystem of the Bildungscampus, TUM Campus Heilbronn offers ideal conditions for applied research, international exchange, and academic excellence.

A strong signal for the future of research, talent development, and global connectivity.
